Registration of fertilisers and substrates

The State Plant Protection Service accepts and evaluates applications for registration, authorisation, mutual recognition and EC fertiliser inventory of fertilisers and substrates and the documents attached thereto and takes decisions on the inclusion of fertilisers and substrates in the State Register of Fertilisers and Substrates.

Supervision of fertiliser use

Farmers whose land is located in particularly sensitive areas must submit a summary of their crop fertilisation plan by 30 November each year via the Rural Support Service's Electronic Application System (LAD EPS) or send it to pasts@vaad.gov.lv if it is signed with a secure electronic signature.
