The Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) is the European Union agency that manages the European Union's plant variety rights system, which covers 27 Member States.

It has been headquartered in Angers (France) since 1997. 

CPVO's mission is to offer and promote an efficient intellectual property rights system that supports the creation of new plant varieties for the benefit of society.
